Free to good home - American Bulldog
      #19863 - 01/31/06 03:48 PM

Paid 700$ for him as a pup. Beautiful dog, male, all white with red patch over left eye. He is already 110 pounds and a good watch dog. Does not like strangers on the property but warms up after seeing them around a few times. I have a four year old that keeps getting knocked down and is just to big to have around. Guess I should have known better. He does well outside, I bring him in, in the evenings. Send me a pm if interested. I will post pics of him this evening.

How old is he, and is he up on all his shots and stuff?
(I know a guy who likes bulldogs, so I'll ask him if he's interested).

He is up for his shots this month. No, I do not plan on updating them unless I go ahead and decide to keep him. I appreciate your help. He was born October 2004, so a little over a year old.

These dogs rate right up there with Boxers in terms of worthless, put a bullet in its head and do yourself and somebody else a favor all at the same time.

I used to have a neighboor that had one of these fuggin stupid animals. this dog ate every thing in site. one morning i see the dog in another neighbors yard all hunched up, trying to chit for about an hour. finally, the owners wife comes out, lifts up his tail and pulls about a 3 foot long dishtowel out of his azz.

fuggin thing was into everyones garbage on trash day and it was garbage that finally did him in. he snarfed up a couple of corn cobs and died of a bowel obstruction.

There are a good many dog breeds out there and it makes absolutely no sense why anyone would want one like this. If they dont serve a purpose to their master (something constructive mind you) or cant get along around your kids or others kids.... why have em?

This is one of them worthess eatin and chittin machines plain and simple.

Reminds me of a buddy who lives across the street from a gal that has one of these. Said gal would let the dog out in the early a.m. hours to run free. She figured less likelyhood of the dog coming in contact with a person at those hours.

Dog was predisposed to do several things at my friends:
1. shiit all over his yard (found one particular spot
in front of the porch most inviting)
2. piiss on my buds truck rims every night (this was causing the chrome to discolor)
3. tear the shiit out of his garbage cans & leave it
strewn about the yard. Momma had to pick it up.

He politley asked the young lady to keep her hound in her own yard and explained what was occurring each night. She more or less told him to get focced and that it wasn't her dog doing the "deed".

He tried tabasco sauce and various pepper sprays to no avail.

Remedy: He took a 25'exterior extention cord, cut off the female end...split the wires open and attached to the metal cans lid. The can sits on rubber mats to facilitate cleaning. To further entice brutus the cans lid was liberally rubbed with bacon grease.

He told me that he and the wife were up late wrapping Christmas presents when he noticed the exterior xmas lites go out followed by a "blood curtling howl/scream".

It seems the bulldog got a mouth full. Blew the breaker to the outside circuit. When he went to inspect.....the dog was gone but had evacuated it's bowl and bladder on the spot.

Furthermore, this happened shortly before Christmas and he reports not seeing the dog since nor seeing any sign of it being let out or being walked?
