Well probally get all setup this weekend --going to go with a better rod and reel then maybe the cheapest , because want a couple backups for my heavy catfish rigs, and get that 130lb.green dot line spooled up on them . I might hav't get one of them tent privy for the live in chef --don't think she'd like the minner bucket idea -- --
We caught a few nice cats last year; up to near 40lbs , so she knows to help get the dang fish onboard and get back--
I'll get a gaff , a good safety tips on those is a add bit of surgical tubing to fit over point of gaff when not in use . What is the legal lenth ?--with or without bill--30" ?-- I'll make a trip to MDC web site to check rules --

While a minner bucket might make a fine porta-craper, that's not what yer gonna find it most useful for................think DRAG.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhh I see said the blindman !- --; but I still like the idea of a tent porta potty . We were fishing up at Smithville Lake and people had put one up for an elderly women ; since then the live in chef wants one-- - We used those canvas boat drift anchors before on the Columbia River in Oregon , bet my bro-in-law still has them .

Tom,

You think you could make room for me one day this spring while yoyu are out jerking for fish? I have never been and would like to learn how, why, where, the when I got... when it is season.

Charlie

Charlie you would be more than welcome to come with me but I have not been in several years. When and if I take up snagging again I'll let you know.

Save yourself the time and effort. Buy two cases of beer and a coupla Filet O Fish sandwiches at Micky Ds.

I went snagging with some buds a few times down at the Rock. Snagged one fish in 3 years...

The last time we went, we snagged for about an hour and since it was my boat, I declared we were going fishing. We found crappie staging for the spawn, accidentally, and loaded the boat with 10-14 inch crappie.

Fork a bunch o snaggin....

Well always have a back up plan , besides that my family lives down on Table Rock and plenty to do in Branson and Taneycomo is just two boat ramps and a few miles trailering down the road . Might get some trout fishing in if Crappie's aren't spawning yet . Probally waiting till mid season , (around Easter) so hoping the larger female Spoonbills are running good by then .- -
