Hello all! The 2010 Missouri Waterfowl Association Central Chapter shoot and BBQ is scheduled for Saturday August 21st. Registration begins at 11 AM. Social Hour is from 4PM to 5 PM with dinner to follow. $40 perperson for adults includes 50 round sporting clays course, dinner and drinks. $65 for a couple and only $25 for youth under $17. There will also be duck flush and 5 stand for $10 per round. This is a really good time! The sporting clays courses at Prairie Grove are excellent. The "duck flush" and "5 stand" cannot be described and have to be experienced!! Prairie Grove Shooting Sports is a little north and east of Columbia. The Central Chapter does a great job of putting this event on. God willing and the creek doesn't rise, I plan on being there! Hope to see you there too! Jim Schepers Central Chapter contact phone number is 573-817-5452 if you need any more information.

Hey Halfy, are the weeks shorter in August this year?
"The 2010 Missouri Waterfowl Association Central Chapter shoot and BBQ is scheduled for Saturday August 21st."
Not that shorter weeks are a bad thing in August.

When its a 100 forking degrees out in August each week could have 1 or 2 days in it and I'd be happy!

Ya'all missed a great time. Decent weather, good turnout of shooters, a challenging sporting clays course, lots of good food and lots of adult beverages after the guns were put up! And Dadakota is the proud owner of a new gun that he won! Congrats Dada!!
