greg has been fishing the confluence for over twenty five years give or take a few,i remember when he got one of the first big boats on the river it was like a twenty foot all weld with a 150 on the back had like a hundred and fifty gallon trough in it, loved fishing hole mooneye and sitting under the 367 bride on the mo. now pay close attention greg caught a 85 lb blue that was the new illinois record, i thik it beat out the 1967 record. tim pruitt came along caught a 124 n some change beat greg out of his title with the newworld record ,now here is greg with the new world record, kind of ironic the last i heard greg gave up fishing after a boat accident killed his brother and never recovered the body, they struck a submerged log in front of the power plant belowe alton dam and sent the boat into a death spin, they called 911 from a st louis cell phone and it took like 45 min before anyone showed up to help . so dont think this guy dident have some kind of clue what was going on. i dident post this in any disrespect to greg just letting ya know who he was"

So, you're saying this is not Greg "the fluteman"? I thought maybe he got the fish close to the boat and hit him with his flute. His girlfriend was heard to say, "Hit 'em wit yer flute Greeeg..."
WTF, all of the sudden you're MissBud, posting chit we have to use a decoder ring to figure out? I just want to know why you can't do us all proud and haul in a 100+ lb whisker fish like that? 
BTW, are you fishing the shack tournament this weekend?

Looks like it is at 625 and expected to get to 628 by Saturday. Corps of Enginners - River and Lake Levels The reports I'm getting are all the same. Lots of fish being caught, even with the high water.
Good luck if you get in. I doubt I'm going to make it but there is still a slight chance. Trying to escape some family stuff.
