14 games left. I have gone from hoping they win the division.. to hoping they can get a wild card spot.. to hoping they can win 5 more so I get free booze from Swampy! They are wound tighter than a 7 day clock. Their finishing kick is 4 -6 in the last ten games. Do I hear a little Simon and Garfunkel "Slip Sliding away.." in the background??

Too many mistakes and errors lately. And, I didn't see bunting your hottest hitter in both the 1st and 2nd innings. Same result both times; Willingham and Gordon struck out. Gordon can't buy a hit and never liked the Willingham deal to begin with. Also, what real value has Ibanez given the team?

How big are some of the games looking that we pissed away earlier in the season. Someday they'll learn that in the end they count just as much in April/ May/June as they do in September.
