Need to buy a Ground Blind--what is a good one
      #256609 - 01/15/18 08:50 AM

I recently obtained permission to photograph at a new property. Owner said I could set up a ground blind and leave it there.

I'd like to get one that is large enough for two people to photograph out of with "comfort" and is relatively easy to carry in and set up

Hope Tony can help you out, my friends that pound turkeys with arrows say a Double bull blind, around $200, is a good option...

Yup. Dbl Bull blinds big and tough blinds. No zippers and no velcro. Plenty room for two. Got a couple of them on sale at Rogers last year.

We had an Ameristep Doghouse clone that was ok (forgot the company name but it was a Cabelas' clearance sale dealio) --

it wasn't real durable and and was a pain to store.

The 'new' blind will have to be large enough for two photographers to set up big lens plus tripods camp chairs plus a cooler etc

Not sure if the land owner will use it also but the location has tons of deer and turkey but he isn't in to hunting them or let anyone else hunt there but he is ok with photography and has asked for a couple of prints if we get anything good.
