I don't think you can ever go wrong with throwing a crankbait for LMB on Truman. Too many good places or good looking areas to fish slowly if you have never fished the lake.

The Shriners big tourney this past weekend was supposedly won by a team throwing homemade jigs up the Osage in the dirty water. Fish were supposedly still pre-spawn. Good Luck!

Timmy, that was on the internet... I once won a tournament in September throwing spooks on mainlake seawalls @ LOZ too... Although, I'm sure the senko deal wouldn't be a bad idea... I think though, w/o prefishing, the boys are gonna need to cover water... BTW, quarry trip has been ok'd by said landowner....

COOOL! Just let me know when you can escape.
Kerry and I are fishing a tourney at Smithville on Saturday. Any advice on fishing a lake that is gonna be 4 foot high but dropping, the color of chocolate milk and the fish are either spawning or immediate post spawn? This could be reeeeeaaaallll tough!

Supposed to pre-fish tomorrow, only day we could for the last two weeks. I figure it's going to be really on or the other with the timing and water conditions. If it's post-spawn with chocolate milk we'll be . If it's on then I would think a jig and spinnerbait should about load the boat.
Thanks for all the info, you bass nazi.

Just stay west of the dam and you'll be fine.
