The other pic is of it once I got it chopped down to size and into the frying pan. It was really enough morel for me to get a good dinner. 98% of the shrooms I found were within 60 ft. east of the house under some pin oaks on a northern shaded slope. I estimate I found 30-40, mostly the small greys, then the bigger yellows. I also found plenty of places again this year where the weren't! But if you like to hunt for them, it's all part of it. Each year, I go out to several "new" places and look. Gradually I am begining to find enough different places to enjoy eating them again. I ate 'em 4-5 times this year...best results so far in a while!!! Post Extras
