      #199298 - 02/01/10 05:53 PM

....is quite a place. Went hiking with the misses this past weekend in the snow....a really unique property....we did the trail along Pickle Creek and I couldn't believe how beautiful it was....we'll be back.

Some steep grades there...the forest trails have a lot of native short needle pines mixed with the hardwoods...the creek is a billion years old with pink granite and sandstones and a number of quick 3 to 4 foot drop offs the higher up you go. It ain't the Rockies but not very common for MoMo. The creek trail is 'sposedly a mile long upstream but we went a lot further than that. I think there's about 20 miles of forest hiking all total. Nice place.

Walking for 20 miles? Fork that. I get tired driving 20 miles.

Somebody has to walk the point.
