Ryder Cup
      #257824 - 09/26/18 08:25 AM

Welp, it is almost here...

If each player for both sides brings their A-game, the USA should have this wrapped up before Sunday afternoon. This USA team has what appears to be the perfect mix of experience and talent. But that European team is pretty loaded and probably still smarting from the 2016 drubbing they took at the hands of the Americans. They'll have a pretty big advantage with the fans but I suspect we'll hear plenty if roars and chants of USA, USA, USA...

Fortunately, they are going to be 6 or 8 hours ahead of us, because I have a niece getting married Sunday afternoon and would otherwise miss it. Looking forward to it.

This is where the closet fans, like griff and Dawg have a hard time. This is akin to the Olympics, in terms of patriotism and must watch TV. But then they have to admit they watched it. Hence, the forthcoming golf bashing comments and denials of ever having watched it...

USA, USA, USA...

The time difference is a bummer.

I'll be lucky to watch some Sat morning. Plan to be playing as usual Sunday morning. DVD from there.

"In the bag" is not a term that can be applied to USA Ryder teams.

This from a dude that said tiger wouldn't last the season, and Waino is washed up, and noren wood win a few tourneys this year.

If Rory brings his A game...............watch out USA

Off to a good start going 3-1 in the morning matches. Tiger not looking like Tiger needs to look...

Gotta get the livestream going at work...

Welp. found the livestream and wish I hadn't...

Complete meltdown by the Americans in the afternoon matches and the Europeans are pouring on the coals. Barring an unexpected rally by one of the USA pairings, look for Team USA to start tomorrow down 5-3.

Perfect example of why I usually root for the Euors.
Europe was a TEAM!
USA had too many primadonnas and was NO WAY near what a 12 man TEAM needs to be.

One more thang>>>> tw and his nike loving kneeler.

Bwaaaaaaa......that course they were playing is like their own home course......popular on the Euro tour....Americans never knew what hit them.

Woods earned his way on that team but he is a terrible Ryder player. And boy did Mick tear them up.

Eddie's right, that group overseas knows what TEAM means.
