That's obscene. People out of work all over, and she's worried about her 185th pair of designer shoes.

Ahh, well. Stick with what you know! A little bit of architectural history. Make sure you have tents covering opening between 2 barn doors, so that people can stay in an entirely closed in area during bad weather.
Make the storage area, and shop in the small barn into two offices, one for registration and one for the managers. I worked with the 7 girls in the office, to figure out what they needed. Run the internet down there to hook their computers and the displays up.
Presentation is everything. Although, most bidders are NO different, than the regular guy on the street. Make sure you offer something for everyone!
Tell, every guy that sits it the Biarritz, that he looks 'just like Elvis.' Not really, but sometimes it works.
Draw on every one of your talents. In the past, you might have been a dancer, and now you set stages. Stages for a different purpose than strictly entertainment.
There are a half a dozen motorhomes parked outside, and security everywhere on this property tonight, feels life we're hosting a Cup race.
As long as "Those shoes" keep moving forward you won't get bogged down in the mud. Just like tires, you have to keep them pointed ahead.
I'm so nervous, when months of work could be all for naught, and I NEVER have lost stagefright. But, I just keep on smiling, 'cause what you do in your REAL life matters.....Grace under pressure.
One more thing.....choose the right music to keep 'em interested....

Thanks, lots of old friends last night, and one man I'd never met from Winnipeg.

Well, we have an entire nation of pinhead race fans, with no taste.
I sold a fortune yesterday, but I didn't sell my soul.
The midget race car that Pancho Carter drove on the way to a USAC championship was built by a man named Don Edmunds, we knew this by the serial number. We had advertised it for sale a few years ago, and a young man called and said, "You won't believe this, but I used to play in that car when I was a kid." His father had passed away at an early age, then his family sold the car, when his grandfather died a couple of years later. He kept every picture of that car, and every racing program he could find on it.
Yesterday, he, his Mom and his sister drove from Windsor (about 5 hours) to watch the car get sold. We had them up on stage to tell the story.
My Dad being interviewed for a Backyard Mechanic kind of show....it's supposed to air in a couple of weeks.
An article from a week ago, about my Dad.....

And what the 'view' is like from behind the block....

Or a couple of the other girls from the office. BTW, on the auction block, this icon has a whole different meaning..... . I ran like crazy yesterday.
