It seems the ol' boy might be right this year. I know it's not solid Spring, but a lot of things seem to be ahead of schedule.
This usually when the sky is full of snow geese. Even with this South wind, I've only seen one bunch today. It sounds like there is a bunch up North. Red wing blackbirds are already here, and there are record numbers of sandhills basking in Nebraska for this time of year.
I know that chit can still hit the fan, but I have to believe that those critters know more that we do.

Was up at Foley/Elsberry last week when it looked like a push came thru but it was more like the scouts Waaaaaaaaaay early Had to head home Thursday
Reports were small groups were headed north pretty steadily
Got tooooo much going on to head back this week
Was going to do some more photography but with this weather……not sure what will still be here
Usually when it is this warm only ducks left are teal, bootlips and Woodrow’s
I guess that’s better than nothing

Word is that Neb. and Minn, are full of the white geese.
Spring peepers are fired up here tonight. That's pretty early too.
