shot a little one, but this kinda sums things up:
I am not sure what I have ever done to deserve this, I worked hard as I was taught by my parents, I've worked hard at loving as taught by my Lord, parents, grand parents and numerous role models have shown me...but never thought I deserved this...
Spent a weekend ago hunting with my youngest Aaron, and it felt right and we did good...he has meat in his college freezer...I am Blessed...
Spent some time hunting on my own, the solitude, the quiet, then the power of the wind, and the solitude within the wind...I am Blessed...
Sometime early afternoon Friday, I get a text "finish up, your grandson is on the way!" So I did. Life is harsh and extreme in certain respects, I shot, killed, dragged, field dressed a deer just a few hours after my grand son Adam Lee was born...next day I butchered the deer and was soon on the way to see young Adam Lee.
I am home now, in the last 24 hours, I've finished processing a deer, I've held all 4 of my grandchildren...and I am good...not sure what I have done to deserve this, but I am good, I give thanks to the Lord because he makes it all possible...and it will continue...
