The last few years we have been trying to get Baltimore Orioles to visit our place…….with mixed success
Molly put up the feeder…loaded it up with cherries….. Saw the first male this morning
Looks like rain but May have to set up the photo gear anyway
Anyone else seeing them?

Funny you should ask. I put out the hummingbird feeders last weekend. The day after I put them up, I had an Oriole drain one of them. First I have ever seen in my back yard. I have five feeders - 4 have clear bottles, and one a red bottle. He only went to the red one. And he was so big that when he got on the feeder, it tilted it to where the food spilled out the other side.
I saw it come to the feeder throughout the day, then he disappeared. I'll have to read up on how to attract them. Was a cool bird for sure.
