I came across a website that has a short multiple-choice quiz about your political views. The purpose is to help people who are undecided find what candidate and party are closest to their beliefs. It's legitimate - almost 4 million people have taken the quiz this year.
My results were:
91% Mitt Romney
90% Virgil Goode (Constitution Party)
87% Gary Johnson (Libertarian Party)
65% Barack Obama
So far as party alignment, my results were:
89% Republican
70% Libertarian
41% Democrat
34% Green
I get a kick out of the fact that though my wife was a Democrat from Brooklyn when I married her many years ago - she now scores as a stronger Republican than I do. I can't fix the whole country, but I straightened her out, anyway!
