My own $.02: From the U.S. rate of 4.2 murders per 100,000 people SUBTRACT those murders committed in big-city black and brown ghettoes (our own third-world population), and I bet our rate would be less than 2 murders per 100,000 people annually.

Americans who own guns legally for self-protection and hunting aren't the problem, obviously.
