I'm not a fan of his, but I also don't hate him like so many. I find it interesting how the the NCAA, The Big Ten, ESPN and others have such a massive hard-on for this guy, but seem to look the other way for others. Every Head Coach, of every major team, in every major conference is cheating and/or has people cheating for them. There are too many zeros behind the numbers for that not to be the case. Clearly, some are better at it than other and some get more scrutiny, when they upset the apple cart. It's not hard to see how Harbaugh pisses them off.
What is really interesting is how many people are defending him. And not necessarily because he and Michigan are pure as the wind-driven snow. It's mostly because there is no due process, before suspending him, and the fact that very few people see this alleged infraction as that big of a deal. If anyone thinks every team isn't "scouting" their opponents every single week, they are delusional. The issue seems to be scouting a little to aggressively and recording it. So, the Big Ten comes up with the "Spirit of Competition" accusation and gives him the boot. Even if you hate the SOB, you have to admit the way this has all gone down and is still going down reeks to high heavens.
Look for Michigan to make a move to the SEC in the next year or two. They will welcome him with open arms and probably share some SEC tips on how to cheat with the big boys.
