Time to look ahead to how the Blues will disappoint us next season... 
Just what the fork is going on with the Hitchcock situation? First, they flirt with Babcock, knowing full well they couldn't possibly complete with the dollars being offered by bigger market teams. Once they did that, I figured they would cut ties with Hitchcock just because of the awkwardness of the situation.
Now they seem to be dragging on the decision whether to keep him or move one. It seems pretty simple to me. He is either the best option for this team or you think you have someone better. Either way, make a decision and move on!!
My guess is they want to keep him but can only do so if a few players are no longer on the roster. Trying to make all of that work may just be impossible. If so, they'll have yet another new head coach.

I wonder what the Vegas line is on Hitch making it thru the complete season next year?

So they'll trade him getting very little in return (probably to someone in our division) and he'll come back to haunt us for years - think Shanahan, Hull...

Oshie is a good player that is far more popular among the less-knowledgeable hockey fans than he is a great hockey player. If it weren't for his repeated no-shows in the playoffs and his openly bucking the Head Coach's system, I would like the guy as a 2nd or 3rd line player. As it is, he is either going to get on board with Hitchcock's system or he's going to be gone.
The other move that I want to see may be out of the Blues control. Vladimir Sobotka was badly needed in the playoffs. He might be the most under rated Blues player we've seen in a long time. If he decides to stay in Russia, it is a big loss for the Blues. I am hoping he returns...
It should be a fun off-season now. Watch the chess pieces move...
