You'd think the moron would have figured out years ago that the American sports fan will forgive almost any discretion, if you just admit what you did, pretend to be contrite and show some signs that you're not still doing it and won't do it again. Hell, Kobe raped a woman and was getting fitted for a prison jumpsuit before his legal team was able to buy her off. He's getting worshiped on his farewell tour. Ray Lewis was involved in a murder and managed to get out of it under some very dubious circumstances and he's now wearing a suit and on ESPN. Michael Vick beat dogs, AP beat his kid and Greg Hardy beat a woman and they all enjoy the luxuries of the pro sports athlete life. The list is endless... It is my contention that he shouldn't be in the HOF for what he did. Even if you think that should be overlooked, you can't argue the guy is about as dumb as they come for not just playing the "I'm sorry..." game and letting the fans and sportswriters fawn all over him for his honesty and coming clean...
