Supposed to be hitting this event in Denver next week. Thursday night session.
Anyone ever been to it?
Anyone got any brews that I just NEED to try while I'm there? I think there's over 400 breweries attending

We always go out for Oktoberfest in Denver. A couple yrs ago, some gal was taking a survey at the Oktoberfest on how to make it better. One thing I told them was to schedule the Oktoberfest the same time as GABF. She said they had gotten alot of requests for that, so this year, they got pretty close. It's sad to say that I planned this trip with beer on my mind. While I have a great family to spend time with, the only things planned out are the things beer related...
Thanks for the link to the thread. I think the water bottle advice is the best. I don't plan on trying to see it all, but I've got a list of ones I do want to hit and the list is not near full enough yet.

I've judged at the GABF. A tough job, but somebody's gotta do it.
If BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse is represented, see if John (Toby) Oliver is there. If so, tell him a feller in Ozark, Mo. says hello - he'll know who you mean. "Toby" is the fourth guy down on the link below.
John's a good friend, and he used to be general manager of our homebrew business. He'll take you under his wing, and he'll have some 4-year-old 1.090 s.g., 90 i.b.u. brew stashed away that's not for public consumption.
You'll have a great time at the Festival, it's a blast.

Ozark, You have lived a fulfilled life so far bud.
I checked the list of attendees and it looks like BJ's will be there. I'll look for your bud Toby and pass along some well wishes.
I'm going to try and remain calm while I'm there, but I'm afraid I might be like a young bull in pasture full of heifers. I think I might chain a brick to my leg to keep me down to a fast jog

Well, remember the story of the young bull and the old bull.
Don't run down and screw one of them - WALK down and screw 'em all.
