Project Paperclip is an actual historical occurrence during the end of World War 2, when German scientists were extricated, during the end and after World War 2 in order to acquire their knowledge. Most of these scientist specialized in aerodynamics and rocketry, chemical weapons, medicine, and chemical reactions. Interestingly, these scientist and their families were brought into United States without State Department’s approval or review. Since most of the Operation Paperclip remains classified, this plays well in the story line of Captain America. Watch for it's mention in the movie, because I did hear, it's a good movie.
