When it comes to speed and NEW images, whether watching it live or on T.V., the naked eye cannot send messages quickly enough to the brain.
And, while it's a spotter's job to 'pick up' and relay small details to a driver, for the mostest part, we have been replaced by computers, because it's impossible to see the entire track, and all cars, from all angles.
Even pre-season, we've been replaced. I hope a Southern Man will remember, not the lyrics to a song, but who saved Lionel from bankruptcy.

I see she is as completely incomprehensible here on the NASACR forum as the others.

Well, THE NEWS, just comes right in my inbox, just the same as EVERYONE ELSE.
But this particular NEWS comes from Lionel, the same people who make model trains. The same company known for DETAILS.
So, if you want to be quick enough to know which drivers are in which cars, for a fantasy league, THIS YEAR, there's your list.
Simple.

East coaster Georgian, asking about the Floridian?
Front Row Joe is on Facebook, and is a 'friend' of my husband.
You just gotta hope that that these independents don't go the way of No Fear Racing, and stay too long in the business and go broke. He got caught out on the real estate market too. NO ONE is insulated from recessionary times, least of all these folks who's addiction to speed is fueled by money. It becomes a matter of ego over reality for most of these guys when they 'can't' quit. They can't admit to themselves, much less publicly, that they are just like EVERYONE else.
I know what it's like to have the addiction, but I moderate myself, when it comes to REAL LIFE racing, because it would be just 'too easy' not to change.
I consider myself very lucky to have had my time in the 90's when I could afford it, and to have RETAINED some friendships along the way.
