Brats
      #249951 - 09/09/15 09:02 AM

Last week Schnucks had butts for .69 so I picked up one almost ten pounds. Ground and stuffed them yesterday. The ones in the bowl are regular and on the plate they are jalapeno/garlic/basil. Used some of Williams Brothers Washington Mo seasoning. Grilled some last night and they were great.

I bought the seasoning from Williams Brothers in Washington but I do have a scratch recipe that's pretty good too. They're easy to make if you have a grinder and stuffer. This is the first batch I made with my new grinder/stuffer. Before I used old hand crank equipment that I bought years ago at a flea market.

I bought two large packs of them myself. They are in the freezer. The plan was to just make "pork steaks" but this gets me to thinkin'...
