Fair enough. When I was a working deputy, we had to memorize the serial numbers of the handguns, shotguns, and handcuffs we carried. That's important information if equipment gets switched around in the confusion of a scuffle.

I burned those so deep into my memory that I'll never forget them. That turned out to be handy, because now I use them for website passwords.
