Might be the pitcock in the bowl....I had to have 1 replaced and they told me that when you leave it sitting for a while it will rust and allow the gas to go where it isnt supposed to......Hows that for a garage explanation?

The thing would backfire, miss, die, and do all kinds of things when you were riding it.
