Never seen loons in all my years of going there. Saw 5 or 6 this weekend. They don't let you get within 100 yes for a better look, without diving. And apparently, they can stay down and/or go a pretty good ways under water. Almost all of them were in the Gravois Arm, within a mile of the main lake. Pretty cool to see...
