Ya I went to DC when I was 12......loved the Smithstonian Museums, saw the 4th of July fireworks display sittin in front of the Washington Monument, I liked history as a kid...so seein that stuff was interesting to me.

Cody reminded me this am that he went to DC a couple years ago with my parents to visit my brother out at Quantico. I don't think they took him to Arlington, but they did hit the rest of the monumets out there. I'm glad he went...a bit young too understand most of it, but I do want to take him back in a couple of years when he can appreciate more of it. I know I will appreciate it more the next trip out and see stuff I missed out on as a kid.

The Holocaust Mus. is new as well as the WW II memorial. I want to see those.
