With a BS in Fisheries and Wildlife management and minor in forestry management, I would still have a hard time explaining to the likes of you what a naturally functioning forest is comprised of. I will however explain to you what it isn't. It isn't an intensively managed monoculture with a scorched earth policy of management to control any and all competition to increase the output of the merchantable product. Yet, this is what you would advocate with your arguments.
