Re: MIZZOU Football Fans

It's college football. Anything can happen. FSU has a good chance at losing, so does Ohio state, Baylor I think Oregon and TCU are in for sure. Beating Bama convincingly will make people notice. If some other teams lose, Mizzou has an outside shot at the Final 4. If they don't make it, Pinkle gets the statement win he has needed. Mizzou gets a Conference Championship & will be Orange Bowl bound for damn good money. It also tells the SEC Homers that Mizzou belongs and the last 2 seasons weren't a fluke. It lets them know 2012 was the fluke year.

Some people will still be Homers calling Paul Finebaum saying hi Mizzou lucked into it all, and it won't happen again..........but those folks IQ levels are lower than Forrest Gumps.

Lose and Mizzou hits the Citrus Bowl for $4+ million. Everyone outside the SEC is hoping for Mizzou to win. It keeps the SEC possibly out of the National Title playoff, keeps a ton of money from going back to the conference with no rep in the playoff.........which shows me how good the SEC is, when everyone else wants to keep them out so they have a shot at winning. One more reason to expand the playoffs to 8 teams sooner than later. 5 Con. champions plus the top 3 ranked teams outside that group. If Boise state and some other mid majors feel left out. Tough chit. Join the Big 12-1-1-1+2. Those sorry bastards don't even have enough teams for a conference championship game. Join them or play a tougher schedule to get enough respect to be in the top 3 ranked teams

Personally it should be expanded to the top 16 teams. Round 1 is a home game for the top 8 ranked teams. Next 3 rounds are to the New Years Day 6 and throw the Citrus bowl in there for the 7th bowl. Be ranked in the top 16 and you get in. Period. No exceptions. No need to worry about Conference Championships.

Win or lose Saturday, Mizzou has another 10 win season and repeated as East Champs. Not bad for a team picked to finish 4th in the East.
