Well we go dig even deeper into number if you want. In interleague play the Royals are 8-2 at home, but when they have to travel to unfriendly ground, they are 5-4 with one more game to play at Wrigley. The Cards have a losing record to 2 teams this season and neither one of them will be in the playoffs, unlike the Royals who are losing 7-8 season series matchup currently.

I realize you might be new to this whole playoff thing...........so having a pitching staff with ERA's in the 4's and one in the 5's...........and a losing record against teams who will make the playoffs isn't a good thing.

At the end of the day the only number that matters right now is 82......which means if the Royals played in the Big boy league as Dabs put it........they would be in second place.

...........and 1/2 game out of 3rd place.
