I haven't given up on him by a long shot. But go back and read whatever I said when they signed him this past off season. Not sold, but yeah optimistic.

Outside of starting pitching, there's like 3 guys I'd protect from a trade. Call it what you want, but as I see it, most all the "if's" did not come through.
