I don't want long, expensive contracts for aging players anymore. With the talent coming up in the franchise they don't need to do it.

As for Allen.....he's already signed. I don't think he can take the Blues to the places like they went this season, but I found something to respect the guy for.....he put the team first through the playoffs, and by all accounts, helped Binnington quite a bit. I think the guy is a better backup than he is starter......yeah, an expensive one, but it's already done. How about just leave the forking goalie situation alone for once.

The only way I sign on for keeping Petreangelo is if he no longer wears the C and he gets a 1 or 2 year deal. THAT TEAM NEEDS SCORING!! He's the asset you can move to get some. Now is the time.
