Ya know, my mainstream fishing-trip lawn-mowing beer is Coors. Not Coors Light, original Coors.

There's no preservatives in Coors, and it's supposed to be refrigerated all the way from the brewery. The closer you are to Golden, CO, the better it is. When they bring free drinks in Las Vegas casinos, I always get Coors - it's real fresh and good there.

I like Pete Coors' politics, too. He's spent a lot of money over the years fighting against gun control. Unfortunately, Miller Brewing gobbled up Coors a couple of months ago and I know how they do things. They'll gladly cheapen the recipe if they can save a penny a barrel - so I expect Coors quality to go down.

Everybody's taste is different. Personally, I think all Anheuser beers are real "mediocre" - but that's just me.
