I've tried a couple octoberfest beers in the past week or two..Sam Adams, Schlafly, and Dundee's..They were all good, malty and sweet but nothing stood out..Same with AB's American Ale..decent but unmemorable.

Picked up a bottle of the Schlafly Biere de Garde at the local wine shop last weekend, and I didnt have the discipline to let it age. It was very good as is. The Coffee Stout isnt in St. Louis area stores yet, but their website says it will be available on October 24th. Cheers.
