How big did your cones get? I have a few on the Cascade that got as long as my thumb, but most are about half that size. I think my biggest mistake was waiting too long to pick all the ones that turned brown, but the 2nd wave of buds is still growing and I won't make that mistake again. They should be ready to pick in a couple more weeks.
