Re: What's in the Fridge?

I picked up a six-pack of Hofbrau Munchen Dunkel (dark) the other day, and it's real good. It's a German Dark Lager, and I bought it when I read the label and found it's actually brewed in Munich according to the old Purity Law (no ingredients except malt, hops, yeast, and water). Good stuff!

I was real surprised to find Price Cutter here in Ozark carrying it. Ya just never know.

Reading up on it, the Hofbrau House in Munich is a state-owned brewery/beer hall and it's been around for 100+ years. In 1920, Adolf Hitler formed the National Socialist Party at the Hofbrauhaus. Politics aside, those Krauts sure make good beer.

p.s. - Forsythian, I love your new avatar of you afloat on Bull Shoals. Something about a monkey and a football comes to mind.
