i've been to tommyknocker's brewery twice. this past august i tried their pumpkin ale and their black ipa. pumpkin was okay.. tasted like they put too much brown sugar in it to me.
the black ipa was pretty dang good. i think they used some rye malt in it for some different flavorings.

the wife had some sort of summer ale called tundraberry or something like that. it was infused with berry juice or something. not bad at all.

neat lil brewery on the main strip of town. idaho springs is pretty much on the shoulder of i-70, down in a canyon. i'd hate to see the town after a big rain.. it would wash it away.
