So, this is the biggest race day, at my home track. It's 48 years since my Dad's driver perished in our division, so I always keep in touch, ya' know?

Sometimes it's hard not to. A couple of years back, I came out of Costco in desert, and parked beside my van down there was this black Harley. I load my groceries into the van, then notice that the decals advertising an old friend's saloon. A couple of days later, I find out from another friend, that it was actually the saloon owner's bike. Literally, I missed him by inches, and maybe if I had have waited around, only minutes. He's from Maine, I just never know who I will run into down there.

Do you remember when I passed on my condolences on President Bush's death, and said the he and Mrs. Bush were frequent visitors to a friend's bar, with this photo?

Today, a 17 year old won our biggest race of the season, breaking an age record that stood for decades!!!!
