Was hoping to see a few moon shots from the eclipse. I had a 6:00am flight so I got to see it on the way to the airport. Pretty cool. I figured you would be up playing with f-stops, apertures, shutter speeds and all that stuff....

Yep-- We were up at the farm just for the event and to stock the cabin with some of the food and soda etc for all the guys that will be hunting there.

eclipse began around 3:20 am
I set up everything so Molly could photograph it since she had never seen it before.

She took a photo about every 15-20 minutes.

Shot until the moon went over the bluffs between us and HWY 79.

Had an early breakfast and then took a tour of BK Leach.
Saw a couple of groups doing the early goose season thing.
We saw very few ducks or geese from early yesterday afternoon to this morning.

Kings Creek at "local 39 feet"-- normal is about 32.

I had to paddle into our timber hole and find the floating blind that floated off the fence posts we use to keep it where we hunt it-- luckily it got hung up in the brush and I tied it off to a willow tree.

Partners showed up after we left and were able to tow it back to the site. Good thing because the district pump station began dropping the water level back to a more normal level.

Best part of the trip was stopping at Brown's Meat Market and picking up some NY Strips,Center Cut Pork Chops, Brats and some thick cut bacon.

When we get a few worked on-- will post
