Shameless Self Promotion but I am pretty proud of this
|
|
As many of you know, I do a fair amount of waterfowl photography.
Several people have suggested that I do something with that photography, so with JimDog doing the heavy lifting, Forir Photography has a new web site and store. The store is secure for credit card use and we also have a check payment option as well.
Many thanks to the Waterfowl Mad Man--Scott "Gordy" Gordon for his help in this endeavor --- many thanks to Mr G indeed.

Nope- moved it to the back of the pond where we been seeing all the kangaroo tracks 
Although you don’t need it, best of luck with the e-commerce adventure. I bet you can sell a bunch of the hummingbird shots too.

Man, I'm hunting every day and didn't get around to giving Bill his props either. I bought an 11x14 print of that pintail and it is awesome. I was at my door in 2 days professionally packaged and ready to go to the frame shop. When I get it done, most likely at the end of duck season I'll get someone to post a pic....I can't wait to get it on my wall. Don't hesitate to order anything from Bill....he's got his chit together. I couldn't be happier.
Good North wind this morning after 2 stale days.....out the door in 3....2.....1....

Glad you liked the print......btw it is 16 x 20
and I do want to see the results with the way you described your idea about framing it....assuming you survive running with the young guns this season.

Well, you should be proud. Anyway, I am proud of you, and I have been watching this thread.
Remember what I told you about being selective about what you keep? I still have the pink flower photo that you sent back home all those years ago? I still have it back home.
Now, I've been down here, changing up little things. If I stay, I want the place to look good. If I sell, I want it to look good. I am just taking best advise from my other widow friends, who tell me, "Don't make any major changes or commitments for at least one year."
Anyway, there is this one wall in my kitchen down here that I have never put a nail in, because I could never find just the right piece of art to hang there. Now I know that I had it all along.

I may need help once I get it framed.....but I'm up to my arse in gators these days. We sold our house and are in the process of planning/building a new house - retirement property - and I've not got around to those types of things yet. BUT - I already have the wall picked out where it will be displayed.....if the redhead and I don't kill each other first.

nothing harder than building a house we did 7 of them and never again she learned to much over the years if I tell her it cant be done , she knows better .good luck your going to need it

I'm thinking about getting more cards soon. I know it's not your thing, but did you happen take any nice reptile/amphibian pics? I'm thinkin' Tree Frog greeting cards, or maybe Fence Lizard/Prairie lizard.
