That little kid...

That swam across the cove at Smithville to get salt and pepper with Duckband's boy, that little dude that killed his first duck with Lee, saw me pull my foot out of borrowed waders with a dead mouse, killed his first deer while I was off bloodtrailing another's deer...ran a sub 10 minute 2 mile at State...won a division 1 race at Oklahoma State (in a snowstorm), that son of mine that followed me into teaching, well come April, he is taking the next big step...married last December, gonna be a dad in April...
Can't wait for us to start the all over again...lovin it!

I don't think there is anything more important than raising kids to become productive members of society. The group on this board has a good track record for sure.
Good thing.....we ain't that good at anything else.
