See? I've been saying.
I'm thinking about getting an I.V. hooked up so I don't have to mess with swallowing.

Then you can't taste it.
$6.49 for a 6 pack at the Webb City Price Cutter. I may build a room on to my house so I can stock up on the stuff.

one empty keg of SN Pale Ale 6 bent SN Celebrator bottle caps laying on the outside of the fridge door 7 Banquets 7 or 8 Budlights with Rams logos on them making them even less appealing 2 Schlafly APA's (not a good batch either) struggled with the 1st 4 -- I think they have a tough time keeping that one consistently good

Speaking of bad batches, I had some single wide a few weeks ago that you could literally chew on.

Gotta go with the Chiefs and Boulevard brewery!
6+ single wide IPAs 6+ bully porters
~10 bud bottles (for gigging camp)
Who knows what's in the back of the fridge... I think I still have a BoBo Porter in reserve, along with countless singles from days gone by.

Our grandkids brought the 24-hour stomach flu home from school, and it's made the rounds of the family. The last couple of days I've had my turn.
Last night I thought I was better, so I risked ONE Salvator Doppelbock before bedtime. Driving the porcelain bus an hour later, I got to see it again.
When this is over, I hope I still like the stuff!

Salvator can be a bit unstable if conditions aren't just right. Ain't that so, Forsythian?
Hope you get yourself well.

It's prolly more likely to be that Red Man in the can that's causing your issues. I take a whiff of that stuff and I get loosened up...

I'm back on track again. I had a couple of beers last night (including a Salvator) with no problem and spent today cutting and hauling firewood. I got hungry from not eating for a couple of days, and a Wendy's bacon cheeseburger fixed that. Going crappie fishing tomorrow.

Boy, it's been 3 years I bet since my bad Salvator night... but it seems like only yesterday I lost that belly full of dopplebock & pork tenderloin in a heaving explosion of regret.
Found something new in the Forsyth Country Mart today... 4-pack 16 ounce cans of Tall Grass brews. Their IPA was nice. Not overdone, a real thirst quencher. Their Stout is a little thin, but not bad. Having an Oasis Ale right now. 7.2% abv. This one'll send me to bed I reckon.
Hope you caught 'em today Ozark. Paul Dallas, it's about time to break out the rag wool gloves and the Tito's.

I'm a leaf man myself. chew stokers peach or apple chew. Made myself sick on snuff enuf when I was a kid, anytime i smell cope of skoal, i just start turning pale...
thought of you this morning.. brewed up a batch of pumpkin porter. looks like motor oil. should be around 6.5% abv. i'm looking forward to it.

Bought a case of SA Celebrator and been drinking 1 or 2 a night. Good stuff.
Winter Float trip is on the books for the first weekend of Jan, but I can't make that one. I'll keep you posted if other trips develop, which I am sure they will. Usually there's a mid Feb trip. I may go somewheres between the holidays with a smaller group. Go poach Montauk like we did last year, right Forsythian?

I seldom turn down a WFT invite. Big group or small, don't matter... each have their pros and cons. My December calendar is filling up fast, but January and February are golden. Griffin, we've gotta get you in on one of those trips. If you need one, Ness might have a canoe you can borrow

January trips full...but a a February WFT usually happens...and its usually allot colder.......
Got your own canoe...a great sleeping pad, a -20 sleeping bag, and enough stuff to wander around for 3-4 days in 10 degree weather? Plan to keep your beer from freezing? Be careful what you ask for Griff.
Ken, Check your PM....

I may have to give up Paulaner Salvator Doppelbock, I think there's some unknown compound in there that causes side effects, and maybe brain damage. Research is needed.
I've had Scott Joplin's "Peacherine Rag" playing in my head for two days now.
Every.
Single.
Note.

Been drinking the homebrewed pumpkin porter, along with pumpkin ale and blonde ale. got 5 gal of smoked robust porter ready to secondary.
added a sixer of NB 1554 and Left Hand's Fade to Black. It's a smoked Baltic porter and it's pretty damn good. I recommend it to those who like the dark beers.

I'm halfway through a 6'er of SN Stout. It's full of roasted bittery goodness.

1/6th barrel of Highland Brewing Company (Kirkwood brew-pub) Blackberry wheat. Mainly for Mrs. Dallas, but I'm kinda enjoyin it mysefff, too. Had a couple pints the other night with a burger there and had to get more. Light, not sweet at all, just a hint of grease and a blackberry nose, very tolerable.
