Heading down to Table Rock with my 2kids and wife for the first time. Any suggestions on boat rental? Fishing with the kids? Anything that is a "must do" while down there. Needs some words from the experienced. Down there from the 30th to the 3rd August.

Unless you like gettin run the fork over, I'd stay the hell away from the lower end of the lake.
go to the upper end and enjoy some peace n quiet, up around shell knob or big m. you can always drive to k-city & branson from these spot

What HAUS said...Stay up around Shell Knob...Campbell point is a full service marina and rents fishin boats....
Mill Creek is about 2 miles up the lake from there...Crickets for bait and lite line! Kids will have a ball...
Iffn you get a bigger boat there is a rope/cable swing up the James river arm...Pretty crowded on weekends but a cool place.
There is also a rope swing under the Shell Knob bridge on the north side, You gotta clear the rocks below before you let go...for the older kids!
Talking Rocks Cavern is a cool cave on 13 highway near Kimberling City...
The Trout Hatchery below the dam!
Marvel Cave is good but stay away from Steal Your Dollar City!
Flatheads are good at night on crawdads on a trot line 5 feet down in 20 foot of water!
Hope you enjoy...The Shell Knob Chamber of Commerce
