I've seen on other boards that some folks are finding greys around Branson, and that a few reds have turned up between Springfield and Truman. Hunting has been pretty good in southern and central Oklahoma, from what I've read.

Thought I would look before it snows this weekend.

No shrooms but I found an 8 point shed.

Mid Mo is gonna have low temps in the 30's until next Tuesday and two days it will be below freezing......low or 28 for Monday here. high temps won't hit 70 until late next week.

We need 70 degree days and some upper 40 to low 50 degree days for a few days. Next weekend might be the first weekend to find some round these parts.

I found some portabellas at the grocery store...Tasted mighty fine in my scrambled eggs this morning.

I ain't bothering lookin in the woods for at least a couple weeks the way the ground temp is. I planted some early garden peas and lettuce the last weekend and damn the ground is cold.

Too early way up hera in the Omaha area fer morels.

I am looking forward to hunting for them this year. We moved to this place last summer and up here we have hills/valleys of hardwood timber & horse pastures. I'll bet once it finally warms up like Dog says, we'll be finding soma dem, or we be tryin'...
