Finally got out today....nothing to write home about. Only found about a dozen....all but three REALLY fresh.
They were flour dipped and fried for supper along with medium rare sirloins and some finely sliced Vidalia that was dredged in a real thin pancake batter and pan fried to crispy onion strings. 
Hopefully find the X soon or it will probably be done and gone.

I saw a feller in that general vicinity yesterday. Feller was searching the edge of the trees right by the road. He had a mesh bag hanging from his belt and it looked like it had a few in there. I haven't looked there myself yet but I'm gonna hit a few less picked over spots tomorrow.

Found about half a whitetrashmart bag full yesterday in a couple hours. Not a big haul but plenty for me although my son decided he likes em now and that boy can eat.
