I need help puting together a digital slide show for my upcoming wedding that I can burn onto a CD or DVD. Now I can figure out how to do a basic slide show set to music, but what I need is something that gives me the ability to set the specific time during the song when each image changes. One image may need to be up for 3 seconds while the next may need to be up for 6 or 7 seconds. Could someone point me toward either some software I could download or perhaps an online utility that would do this. I'm not completely computer illiterate, but the more user friendly and less technical the better.

My favorite ProShow Gold or ProShow Producer (high end version of PSGold-- nice but maybe a bit of overkill)
http://www.photodex.com/
I used it to develop a Birds in Flight slideshow for a St Louis Camera Club presentation last year and it does allow customization, lots of transitions and music fade in and fade out (you will have to do a time line adjustment for each image but it isn't that difficult-- it shows you the duration on the image 'frame' as well as the type of transition)
They have a 15 Day free trial
check yur pm
I think Roxio and Nero Burning also have slideshow programs but I don't know about the customization feature
There is probably some freeware out there if you do the Google,Bing or Yahoo search engine 2 step

It's been awhile since I messed with it, but doesn't Windows Movie Maker allow for the transition times of stills?
