Alright bastages where are the green fish and who's catchin em??
Was at the upper end of LOZ, day had promise but only caught half of a limit but had opportunities.
Preparing for the big open on the river in two weeks, as usual the jet will not be a factor as the river will be damn near out of it's banks. It will be a race for the concrete.
Somebody tell me lies.

Just got back from down there, best 5 today were probably 14#. Never hit a kicker fish but had 5 solid 3# spots.
Bubba, the bluff wasn't happening this morning in the rain. But your other favorite had probably 14#'s of fish in it.

They're catchin em by the gunny sack at Lake Macon. We watched a kid drag in a 7 pounder Friday afternoon.
You ARE talking about carp, right?

Not really sure what that means.............
But the parking lot will only hold like 20 trucks so if you ain't there early you'll be hiking for awhile. As for the river there it plenty to fish and probably plenty of fish, also.

Hb, just yanking yah because it surely wont be like trying to launch out of PB 2 on saturday morning in April! and those calloway bastages are such an inconsiderate lot!
Nothing like getting an opportunity to put a suit on and stand outside and watch two kids make the biggest promise of their life on the 1st weekend it is going to be fuggin hot and miserable....
and then go fish a subdivision lake..

Lance, How did you end up? We fished out of the state park over by PB1. Piddled around mostly.
Talked to one of the guys in our club, in the open at St Thomas it took almost 19lbs to win it. River fell 10' since Friday night.
On a side note broke the cable on one side of the trolling motor today. Have to get that fixed ASAP.

chitty... 3 fish, 6.51... Had one 4+ pull off on a spook first thing, after that quality was at a premium... I caught everything else on a brush hog... Took 15 and something to win...
