Lost a fishing buddy today
      #220120 - 06/29/11 08:49 PM

sold the ole fishing boat that I have had for the last decade sunovagun was one lucky boat that put A LOT of fish into the freezer or into someone's gastric system. Almost shed a tear as the kid who bought it backed it out of the driveway. Here is to good fishing boats.

Think of it this way Tom, yer passing along a boat with GREAT KARMA and maybe the kid will have HALF as much fun in it as you guys did.

If so, it'll be a damn fine boat for him.

It is a wrench to see cherished stuff go away, though.

Remember: New things raise no memories.

Get out and make some memories in that new 2U boat!

LMAO!!!! Tis true it is out of the driveway. Got a whole pile of new memories to make in the new rig. Now that the two little ones are liking the water more and more hope they can keep up the family tradition.

we have been putting some time on the new one and using the livewell the last two days. ONly problem I have with the new boat is the trolling motor, it is one of those fancy MinnKotas with no cable on the foot control. I need to spend a lot of time on it to get it down. Hope the kid still had a big ole' grin on his face when you saw him.
