Royals take game one. There is a loooooonng way to go but there does seem to be something different/special about this team lately.. It's hard not to start hoping that they can make some noise.

For those still keeping track....that is win 91 on the season....so,
2 more wins in the ALDS
3 wins to take the ALCS
Make it to the dance and it will be 96 wins....add 4 more wins there and it will be a 100 win season.

It's actually still only win 89 on the season. And I hate to throw a monkey wrench in your math...........but it takes 4 wins to take the ALCS. I realize yall aren't used to playoff baseball...........but it's four wins to move from the ALCS to the WS. It's been that way since yall were a franchise.

Huge plays by Aoki. He was on that gapper all the way and he got turned around then corrected himself on the right field shot. Not exactly an easy play.
Two great games so far. Taking game 1 away from the Angels pretty much evens out the home field advantage.

Looks like the Cards need to step up. down 4-1 in the 4th.
I am a Cards fan but Royals are my. #1 team...since before 1985.
Cards fan since 1965...
Ahhh make that 6-1 girls...

Awfully good baseball. Still remember all the fun it was to watch the speed and defense of the Cards in the 80's, this team reminds me of some of that.
The O's will provide another kind of challenge than the A's, should be a great series.
