Um, not a baseball fan, at all, but I do have eyes.
So, I'm flipping channels the other night and The Angels are playing The Astros, in Houston. It looked like there was about 500 people there, even the cushy seats behind home plate were empty.
Or, maybe it was a guy in a bear suit. Could have been.

3-4.
Horrid offense and not capitalizing on bases loaded. Three frigging times!!!! Billy and Alex both hit moon balls and the rays did have a good stop by longoria that about ruptured his spleen. Billy got booed early for hitting into a double play. It took moose 7 games to even get a frigging hit!!!!

The advantage definitely appears to be in your favor Toe-moss. Starting pitching has been stellar to this point...

So far they are looking a lot more like the Bad News Royals of the last 25 years than the contenders they are supposed to be. Six wild pitches already and it is only 9 games into the season? A grand total of one home run? And I didn't think it possible, but The Hud is even more irritating!

4-5 and they got hammered by the "whipping boy" of the Central. Guess what when you get beat that bad by a lesser team you are worthless.

You mean you are no fan of the "Wonderdog" ?
When he played for the Cardinals, my wife asked me why he was always diving to make a catch.......I told her---
he is too slow and too old to make the catch any other way
He is the stuff of legend with this little excerpt from Wikipedia
Rex actually earned his "Bug-Eater" moniker in St. Louis during a game when he picked up an enormous junebug off his hat and when dared to eat it by his Cardinal teammate, Tom Pagnozzi, got the players in the dugout involved and they paid him $800 to eat the junebug.

When your pitcher can't make a little league throw to the plate on a force out from 25 feet and your Gold Glove catcher isn't standing on the plate to receive the throw and then looks at the ball at the backstop instead of going after it and let a second run score...it is about the bottom of the barrel.
I feel sorry for the starting rotation. All be Chens blow out game they have looked good only to have an offense led by 95 percent infield ground balls and a piss poor relief staff is going to make this a really long two more weeks until they get it figured out.
They are going to have their May from last year in April of this year...my prediction is they trade for Miller in late April and get things straightened out!

Big Game James sucked on Saturday as well. Gave up 7 in the first two innings. Bullpen actually pitched well (for one game) and held the Twinkies scoreless after that.
And on the play at the plate yesterday, Wild Card Wade compounds throwing the ball away (should have been a DP) by not covering home so the second run could score. That was not Perez's fault.
This team has a whole litany of issues right now. Crow looks lost. Coleman got hammered in his one and only appearance. They might have the worst average in the league right now with RISP. And I think Ned makes bad in game decisions. I am beginning to believe that they won't ever go far with him at the helm. Not carrying a back up middle infielder is just plain stupid. They better get it back on track soon. They are looking a lot more like pretenders than contenders.
